SmilodonSecurity & Intelligence Book a call

Book the 20‑minute call.

Describe the program and what prompted the inquiry. The principal responds personally, normally within one business day.

If someone is in immediate danger, call 911 first. Smilodon is not an emergency service.

Not ready to book? Twenty-seven questions, answered in writing.

Nothing written here is shared outside the firm.

What happens next.

  1. A reply within one business day

From the principal, proposing times for a twenty-minute call. If the matter is a threat or incident in progress, the reply is a telephone call the same day.

  2. The consultation

What prompted the inquiry, the shape of the program, and whether an assessment, a single engagement, or nothing yet is the right first step. A price range before the call ends. No presentation.

  3. A written proposal within three business days

Four pages: what the firm heard, two or three options with pricing, the deliverables, and the terms. Written to be forwarded to someone who was not on the call.

  4. The engagement letter to counsel

The same week the department decides. Nothing is invoiced until it is signed.

Useful to have ready.

None of it is required for the first call. All of it shortens the proposal.

  • What prompted the inquiry: an incident, a bowl trip, a new staff, a board question, or a general wish to have looked.
  • The programs and facilities in question, and roughly how many people are on the travel party.
  • Whether the department has a travel policy, a device policy, or an incident procedure for a threat to a player.
  • The dates that matter in the next ninety days: camp, the first road game, the postseason.
  • Who at the department would own the remediation if there were any: usually the director of operations.

If someone is in immediate danger, call 911 first. For a threat or incident that is not an emergency, say so in the form and the reply is a telephone call the same day.
